Palin's Speech Raises $1M for GOP, $8M for Obama

In a reversal of expectations, Sarah Palin's speech was a major victory... for both sides. For the Republicans, it acted as validation that John McCain picked a Vice-President who could hold her own speaking on a national stage.

For the Democrats, it was a rallying call... "Guys, it's not in the bag, so send more money!"

Sarah Palin’s speech to the convention Wednesday night energized conservatives and inspired excited Republicans to donate a cool $1 million to the RNC's effort to elect John McCain. Bloomberg reported that Palin’s speech was even better for Democrats who got over $8 million in donations since Wednesday!
