The democrats made what many consider to be a crucial mistake when they started the attack fast and furious on Sarah Palin. They threw too many punches that didn't connect and should have let the press do their dirty work for them. There will be a lot of "holding back" for the next week or so as they devise a strategy to combat "Palinmania" that may be coming if the GOP plays this particular card properly.
