Palin Pick Appeals to Conservatives

One of the things that has been in question ever since John McCain became the presumptive Republican nominee for the presidency is whether or not he would be able to rally support amongst the strongly conservative activists that make up the far right of his party.

The selection of Sarah Palin may turn out to be the rallying call that many staunch Republicans have been hoping for. While it is a surprise, a deeper look into her actions and policies reveal that she is conservative in the traditional sense and offers a glimmer of hope to those who fear that McCain may be too moderate to appeal to their desires.
