While there are parts of the opinion piece below that I do not necessarily agree with, there are distinct points that are made that hit spot on. Primarily, the fact that Sarah Palin represents just about everything that liberals hold dear in respects to family lifestyle.
She does it all. She's a mother, a worker, a public servant. Paraphrasing the old slogan, she accomplishes more before breakfast than most people accomplish all day. That's her way. She has made it clear that her style demands continuous focus and effort.
These are things that liberals are known for promoting. BUT, she's not a liberal, therefore she's doing it all wrong in their eyes. In otherwords, it's okay to be an active, independent woman as long as you believe in other liberal ideals.
Whether or not voters agree Palin is seasoned to serve as VP of the USA, her candidacy has revealed one inconvenient truth: Today's liberals and their helpmates in the media do not now, and never have believed their blather about "having it all." If Palin was a liberal, she would be a poster child for "doing it all" but she's a conservative!
