As Palinmania sweeps the country and more supporters of Barack Obama, most notably the female voters, defect to the GOP ticket, the Democrats' campaign has been noticeably stiffened into a unfamiliar territory. Slowly but surely, the ground that they have gained in many of the battleground states is waning as trends point more and more towards a Republican victory in November.
This was beyond the realm of possibility just a few weeks ago when all of the press and momentum were heavily swinging towards Obama. Now, there is a real fight being waged and it seems that the more the Democrats push against Palin, the more the voters seem to migrate towards her and her esteemed running mate.
